A reason to enjoy your morning beverage…

As far as I can remember, coffee was never really good for you. If you wanted to lose weight, improve energy, or become healthier in general, you were encouraged to quit drinking coffee. However, it’s come to my attention that discoveries have been made regarding health benefits of the morning beverage.

According to WebMD, coffee in moderation can cut the risk of type 2 diabetes, decrease the risk of developing Parkinson’s, colon cancer, liver cirrhosis, and gallstones. There is also evidence that it may help with asthma, prevent cavaties, enhance athletic endurance and performance, and boost concentration. Coffee is also filled with health antioxidants.

 So, if you’ve ever had a feeling of guilt in drinking a cup of coffee, remember that it’s not so bad and there are some good benefits for the body!
